Meet Matt Menter

I moved to Baltimore 12 years ago. I got married to my husband here, started a business here, bought a home here. I never thought I'd call anywhere home, but this is home now.

And you take care of your home.

I chose to run for office because it’s time this city stopped getting in its own way. I want to see every neighborhood thrive. Baltimore is a city that could house one million people. We need to bring people back to this city. We need to make it easier to do business here. We need to give people a reason to stay here. We deserve the best. We deserve a government that works for us.

I want to protect the small business owner. I want to ensure that we’re building everywhere in the city and bringing up all communities. I want to make sure seniors can stay in the homes they have always lived in. I want to make sure people aren’t forced out of the city because of rent hikes. I want to make sure that when you’re expecting your first kid, you know you can stay here in the city because we have the best schools and the safest streets.
